As a gardener I have a love hate relationship with dandelions. Each flower turns into hundreds of seeds, most of which seem to germinate in my lawn. But they are so beautiful...

This is a gallery of dandelion seed heads -my favourite bit - in the wet, dry, frozen and even on fire (admittedly that doesn't often happen on its own, but it's quite fun if you've got a handy match).
